Real Estate Transactions: Representation of buyers and sellers of both residential and commercial properties, preparation of 1031 exchange documentation, negotiation and documentation of commercial property acquisitions and sales, advice and assistance with lease-to-fee conversions, real property development, and construction matters.
Commercial Leasing: Preparation, review and negotiation of retail and office commercial leases and subleases on behalf of owners or tenants. General advice and representation regarding lease compliance issues and the renegotiation of lease terms and provisions at extension or option periods.
Corporate Law: Formation and operation of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, professional corporations, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and dissolutions, general advice regarding corporate compliance, restructuring, and planning.
General Business: Preparation and review of real estate and hotel management agreements, consulting agreements, construction contracts, advertising and marketing agreements, contractor and subcontractor agreements, and other commercial contracts and agreements.
International Business Transactions: Representation of foreign individuals and companies in business transactions in Hawaii, representation and advice to Hawaii individuals and companies relating to transactions with foreign-owned or -based entities, advice regarding reporting requirements for foreign or foreign-owned entities, preparation and review of transnational contracts and agreements.
